Junior Sail Training
Training on your own is the perfect opportunity to improve your boat handling skills, including using a Spinnaker and developing crew communication in a double-handed boat.
Training with competitors pushes you further and sailing with your friends is fun! Group training are intense sessions, focusing on your responsiveness in a competitive environment and preparing you for your upcoming club races and championship regattas.
Kids Learn to Sail
Learning to sail is an enjoyable and adventurous journey for all kids! Not only is sailing about having fun, but it teaches young kids how to be independant, resilient, and how to work towards achieving their goals.
The next course is not available until late 2019.
I grew up sailing at the Manly 16ft Skiff Sailing Club, starting out in a Manly Junior and then progressing into a Flying Eleven. I've also sailed a number of other classes including multihull's and skiffs. I am currently sailing one-design keelboats, competing in youth match racing events in Australia and Internationally, as well as sailing a 13ft Skiff at the Manly 16ft Skiff Sailing Club.
I began sailing coaching over 5 years ago, and since then I have become involved with clubs across Sydney to deliver a high standard of training to youth sailing programs.
Current projects include coaching the Junior race fleets at Manly 16ft Skiff Sailing Club as well as co-ordinating and delivering the club's learn to sail program, delivering coaching programs and race coaching for junior sailing associations, and delivering powerboat training courses for centres in NSW.
